Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in a family of artists living in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to acting and modeling. She was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising actor. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned fame to the world and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office in the world. In 1972 her hand-footprints and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw married three people.
