
Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born October 1st 1989) popularly referred to as Brie Larson, is an American actress. Her comedy roles as a supporting actress when she was a teenager were her forte, however she went on to be a star in major blockbusters and independent films. Larson has received numerous accolades including the Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She also won the Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named her one of the top 100 influential individuals in the world in 2019.At age six, Larson was the youngest student accepted into a course at the American Conservatory Theater, and she began her acting career in 1998 when she appeared on a comedy sketch on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She appeared as an actress in the sitcom Raising Dad and briefly dabbled with a career in music with the release of the album Out of P.E. in 2005. Larson appeared in supporting roles in comedy films Hoot (2006), Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) and 21 Jump Street (2012). In 2009, Larson also appeared as an sardonic teenage named Tara in the tv series United States of Tara (2009-2011). Larson continued to take on supporting roles in The Spectacular Here (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). Larson was honored with the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as the kidnapping victim of the drama Room (2015). After the adventure film of 2017 Kong. Skull Island, Larson was the first big-budget release. In 2019, she appeared as Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
